January 13, 2026: Meeting & Luncheon | Vallery Lomas & Lara Adekoya

Vallery Lomas is the winner of Season 3 of ABC’s Great American Baking Show. She is also the author of the cookbook Life Is What You Bake It. She has appeared on CNN, the Today show, Good Morning America, and Live with Kelly & Ryan. Vallery attended USC for both undergrad and law school. She practiced law in New York City for eight years before starting her career as a baker and food personality.

After graduating from the USC in 2015 with a B.S. in Global Health and French, Lara Adekoya worked for Nordstrom at the Grove.  She had a very successful career at Nordstrom and was constantly recognized as one of the highest performing employees. In the face of the Covid-19 Pandemic and with more time at home with family and friends, Lara was inspired to follow her passion for cooking and the community. In April 2020, Lara created Fleurs et Sel bakery, a locally owned baking company that makes sweet treats in small batches. The name of Lara’s company, Fleur et Sels is inspired by her time in France during high school, the former prospective dental school student named her business after two things she loves: flowers and salt. She’s become quite well known in L.A. for her cookies.
